Thank you Peter from PsSounds, a true man of passion for what he does! I cannot explain the amount of work that went into this stereo, it has been finished for quite sometime, it's just one of those things that gets the appreciation it deserves. Not all blown up on social media and windows down garbage.. Just a true love for music and its quality. Just a basic track here but wow does it shine. ...

Yellow megatower...? Long term review soon
If you only listen to rock and metal you should have tuned your sub box higher like at like 40hz to really get that punch
Incorrect, with a rear firing t-line sub box (same sub) that I used after this, in an SUV application using room EQ analyzer and audio frog mic, the peak bass frequency proved to be 42hz! Crazy... As you can see from the other comments this setup is long gone. it's a full SQL system now controlled with a mini DSP 12ch. Although when I had this subwoofer in its t-line box, controlled with the mini dsp, you can alter the frequency curve to match your listening preferences in the usable range of frequency! Crazy how you can make a cheap sub sound extremely well in the right box and direct location/application/installation Fun stuff!!
Of course now it has a stereo Integrity SQL 12-in woofer, absolutely unreal performance!!
You better screw or velcro that amp down, you don't want it moving around in that compartment like that. Especially with the contact points being the wires itself.
This is years old, and now there's a computer cooling fan wired up to the ignition switch to cool the amps as well as Plumbing that goes down to where the sub amp is to cool that one as well. I haven't touched the setup since March 2021 at all, absolutely no crashes either! And the truck has been Airborne at least half a dozen times lol
That is sub was thumping !!! Great job
Thank you!!!
Reduced offset is magic.
The best part of this video is your testimony 💪🏾💪🏾
Yes and amen! Thanks bro
Great video Enjoy your journey with the Lord!
It couldn't be better! He's totally restored my life, crazy to think I'm getting married next week now!! Hahaha God is so good
I have a Silverado 4 door crew cab 4 kicker comp in the doors and getting ready to buy deaf bonce 12's and amp the mechete until i can afford the apocalypse
That speaker is not in that box right it is losing to much air and will blow the speaker
I would have let you come test it with your sound equipment if I still had it! All my data proves exactly the opposite using mini DSP and audio frog equipment. With a peak dB of 135 @ 40hz... obviously the setup is different now
A little bit of math and testing can go a long way even on a somewhat cheap subwoofer in the right installation, application, and location!
I’ve come down TL for years and just noticed that lip off to the right-hand side just a few months ago. I’ve always wanted to see somebody send it off that thing. Well done bro! 👏🏽👍🏽
To God be the GLORY!
Yes and amen!!
Thanx for letting people know that God’s people can jam, too!!! Great testimony! Keep bang them Gospel hits for Jesus
Hahaha yes yes yes!! Thanks for watching! I really didn't think this video would get that much viewing either, spreading testimony! God is good, so good
AMEN BRO HAPPY FOR YOU MAN
🫡 thanks for sharing your testimony, to God be the glory!
To HIM be all the glory and praise!
nice! locked out mech?
Never to be seen again !
Lol!
solid run 🤙🏽 The Claymore seems to be a sweet option for a quiet bike ^^
A ride report and sound samples would be nice ^^
I feel you! ^^ I had the same STFU strapped to the bottom of my chainstay. It kinda helped, but it was ugly af. Now my theory is, to increase the points of engagement of my rear hub, to help reduce the chain slap (it has 10° at the moment). Otherwise, I'll wait for belt driven drivetrain ;-) cheers
Sweet! Wanna hear it (or not)! ;-)
you are very strong, it is a big gap 💪
no redemption?
Danny just got out of surgery 2hr ago. Collarbone in 4 pieces...
@@collinmcballin dang hope he recovers quick. and low key hope he gets his redemption one day
Rad
These were excellent pedals right up until the moment he broke every bone in his body. A++++++. Would pedal again. ;-) Seriously, get well soon Danny and I hope the next test goes forth with fewer major injuries!
Danny is full send or no send. Surprised he didn’t break more stuff 😂. Heal up diaper Danny
Diaper DANNNYYYY
That sub box appears to be way too big for that single speaker.
Hahaha "appears" Nice
One suggestion...... install fans and ventilation holes where the amps are installed.
What's the question? Yes fans and vents were added. I mentioned a couple times in some other comments below. Mounted flush, wired to remote. Pretty sweet. I haven't opened anything up since this video was made, pretty sweet!
Where did you get the A pillar speaker mounts? What speakers did you put in the pillars? Thanks!
I custom made them 😊 it was quite a lot of work. Watch videos from PS SOUNDS they have Ct tweeter and sky high carbon 3.5 midrange Thanks!
Unfortunately I ran Skar FSX for years. Didn't know what I was missing. Def Bonce Arnolds are great but on a budget similar to Skar the DFS USCMRs are way louder, sound way better and they play in their frequency range unlike Skar where you have to turn the high pass way up so they don't distort. You put a little bass to the FSX and they sound like they're gonna blow.
I wanna encourage you that God gave himself for you and others , to all those who believe ! He is that good . His grace is a free gift we just receive it by faith , we are saved ! I’m happy to listen to a man of faith . The world is lost and in need of the savior . It’s also a plus you love car audio ❤😎🙏 check our pillar song called frontline , let me know what you think
@Collin Timmermans I was already enjoying your video due to how well of an install that you did, taking time to make sure everything turned out clean. And then I began to hear that you are saved fellow brother in Christ & that's when this video got all the better! I instantly hit the like button & subscribed to your channel. Yes I did see this was from around three years ago or so & you've changed some things around with your system. I'm going to check your channel & see if you have a more up to date install video. Saw your comment that you were going to install some of the CT Sounds 3way component sets, I personally have one of the 3 way sets from CT also that I am going to put in my 3 row Durango. Also have 2 pairs of beefy Deaf Bonce 6.5" mids I'm adding in the Durango once I get time & a bit more motivation, as I will be doing similar to how you done in this vid on your tahoe. I'm pulling out all of the factory speakers, bypass factory amp & adding a new H/U & retaining my steering wheel controls, aswell as adding two 4 channel amps, monoblock to power my two 15" subs, big3, h/o alt & lithium. Once I get it all installed & playing then I'm going to go back through & begin patiently adding Sound Deadener. I can't wait to have it all done! *and again brother it was great to see a complete stranger online in 2024 with how liberal, PC & "Woke" so many seem to be & yet you comfortably shared your testimony in love just as Jesus Christ would have us to do, without fear from stone throwers, or anyone who may wish to discourage you. You did just as Matthew 10:28 instructs! And seeing some of your reply comments you also obeyed Jude 22, seeing fellow Christians living a public Christian life & walking in The Light is always a HUGE blessing & encouragement to me, thank you brother! I truly pray you have grown very much in your Christian life & in your daily walk with Jesus Christ the sinless Son of God since you posted this video! Keep your eye on that Eastern sky & keep being a witness for Jesus & the one & only true God! Amen & Amen, praise Him!
This comment was such a blessing to me! And hopefully others reading this with that bad mindset of "Christianity is full of rules and guideline, you can't do anything fun" God created us in how own beautiful image, with hobbies and a desire to share. Praise him! My life has been amazing, recently got a radical career job about 2 years ago, got engaged last December, and getting married and moving out in June. I never would've guessed this for my life. And the blessing throughout it just doesn't "happen by chance" Day after day the Lord becomes more and more un deniable in my life. Thank you for this comment! -I'll do a walk though of the current setup very soon 😎
Suggestions for the mids amp. You can mount the plate you have there with rivets and use a flat-headed bolt to secure the amp in the compartment and use riveted threaded inserts to make it removable however many time you need to service it. Simple enough improvement to avoid the fraying wires or components coming loose. Also to reduce unwanted potential noise when things get loud. 6:27
Rad! I've said a few times in the comments that this stereo is completely gone/overhauled. It's a 4 way fully active mini DSP controlled SQL setup now... Lol
Can i have the plans you used to make the sub box?
Oh man that was years ago haha. Long gone. I even built a inverted t line enclosure that was way too much. Now it's a SI SQL 12 and it's the best it's ever been haha
You so handsome
Sup collin still running the 8?
I never had an 8" 🤔 I used to have a 10" skar in a t-line box. That thing was absolutely gnarly
Also see the comment I left that says "full system breakdown" from when I posted the video
Solid stuff bro..👊🏽🙏🏽
Can’t win to get my own Tahoe or Yukon and do this
🎉🎉super clean install great job. Time well spent keep living & loving the lord
I've done it the wrong way too many times. Following Christ is the only way! 👊👊
DO NOT DO THIS!!! i tried it, it was terrible! No predictable lock up point. Fortunately i have another bike with deore 4 pot brakes so i put the xtr levers on that (m9120) and it works amazingly. Saints and saints is the only way. Save ya sen the time and money and just stick with saints
Agreed! This was before 9120's though 😂 😂
God bless you brother. I gave up all my secular worldly gangster rap and hip hop and now listen to Christian rap and bass songs. let me tell you there is nothing soft about it. The bass hits hard enough to remove the teeth from your head, all while spreading the Lords word. 40 plus years of horrible secular music and it will NEVER be missed. Nice setup
This spoke to me! Thank you so much for sharing. Music is very powerful to the soul, while 40 years is quite a lot longer than my 7 (or so) I don't miss any of it either. There's nothing like music that brings praise to the King!
AMEN, Christ is King.
Could just be the stancions settling in the crown and causing your issue. Not sure if they put some sort of grease or lubricant when pressing them in
I'm running one meso 8 on a thousand watts in the SPL scar audio armored enclosure in my '03 Yukon sounds like two 12s in the trunk😂
Hahahaha the beauty of acoustics is the best 😂 😂!
WHAT BRAND OF FRONT SHOCK DID TUO INSTALL?
Bro, I have been waiting to see footage of the savage that hits that road gap. I heard Matt built it. The crazy part is the landing into no run off, rutted and a hard right turn. Thank you for posting. 🤙
Haha! Heck yeah! I posted a short too with a few angles. Gap is mad big. So much fun!
Clean install man ,,sick how you got the amps completely out of sight
Thanks dude! Yeah I added a computer fan on the little drawer where the speaker Amp is, then air holes down to sub Amp. Still to this day have not touched any of the work I did. "out of sight out of mind" sometimes I forget I have like 100lbs of stereo stuff tucked away in my truck hahaha
Hashtag full send AND you're not on an e-bike
I have a Avalanche and I want to upgrade my sound system. But I have the factory bose system. My question is, how do you bypass the bose system?
I think I've gone over that a couple times in the video and through the comments. Just don't use it. Plug and play your new head unit
Good send bro🤙🏼 you’re the only 2nd person to hit that lol… when I climbing up every time I was wondering if I was going to catch you flying by! lol
We're gonna go viral with this one
Weeeee 🚲💨💨
Wicked send man!!
Woo! Thanks yo!
